All very clean on arrival. We were impressed by the generous provision of consumables - toilet rolls, shower gel, shampoo, dishwasher tabs, dishcloths etc plus a plate of cakes and pints of milk and orange juice in the fridge.Perhaps not the best choice for anyone well over 6 ft though, some danger of banging your head.

A fantastic cottage - perfect for our family birthday weekend. The cottage is very well equipped and had everything we could possibly need as a family of five with 3 grown up children! Perfectly located, this is cottage is ideal for walks - we did the Monsal Trail and Chee Dale Stepping Stones - and is also great for a stroll into Buxton. There are lots of places to eat out nearby or you can cook in the lovely kitchen and enjoy a meal at the family table. We would definitely recommend Lavender Cottage.
