We’ve just had our second stay at Meadow View and whilst we were there, we booked to stay again! If you’ve got dogs, you just can’t beat it. The garden is fully enclosed and the meadow out the back is brilliant. There is plenty of wood for the fire, which was great to come back too after a long walk. Everything you need is in the kitchen, the washing machine was handy to have available. Beds are comfy, utility room is handy, myself and my friend went away for a dog holiday, so separating the dogs whilst they ate was ideal. You just can’t beat it. Lots of places locally for walks - Dovedale to Milldale and back is beautiful, especially in Autumn. Also, lots of National Trust properties around to explore which we enjoyed. Bakewell isn’t far, I would recommend getting a Bakewell tart! Castleton is also beautiful. Parking off road is also hard to come by, plenty of parking available on the drive. Can’t wait to come back again.

A comfortable and warm semi-detached house a short distance from Buxton in a quiet location. Very clean and tidy. Ideal for dogs, with a number of footpaths to choose from a very short distance from the house. Just something to be aware of particularly if you have a large dog: styles are common on footpaths and field gates onto roads tend to be chained and padlocked to prevent livestock theft, however the Peak district is blessed with a number of railway footpaths with no such obstacles and great views.

Absolutely brilliant holiday cottage in a great location. The dogs loved the field and the garden was secure enough even for our little dogs. The cottage had everything we needed(and more than most places we've stayed). Would 100% recommend this property.
