We had a fabulous stay at Middlecroft over Christmas. The cottage had everything we needed to prepare the feast and is a very relaxing space to chill out in. Walks from the door. Loved the open design, looking down to the lounge area from the stairwell. Immaculate bathrooms and very comfy beds. Would definitely recommend and we will return!

When people say - "this is the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in", you may think, really?? But, I can honestly say that this was definitely the case for us. Spotlessly clean, fabulous modern kitchen and bathrooms, so warm and really comfortable. We stayed, for oh too short a time, in December and it was lovely and welcoming to come back to after a days walking and exploring. Fabulous little "corner" shop right by the entrance to the cottages which had delicious home made cakes as well as the essentials which was very handy. The cottage owners, Tracey and Robert, left a basket of "goodies" - tea bags, coffee, chocolate, biscuits and scrummy cake, which we were very grateful for. No issues with parking - there's a space right opposite the cottage and although it is in a small village it is so quiet. Would we book again? In a heartbeat - just trying to work out when!
