A private lane will lead you to the farm, where you can park up in an off-road space before entering your holiday home. Be greeted by a hallway where you can take a seat on the bench to unlace your walking boots and hang your jackets above. Moving through the home locate the kitchen/diner with shaker-style cupboards housing everything you need for a self-catered stay and when dinner is ready, gather at the dining table to tuck-in. Relax and unwind in the bright and spacious sitting room and select your favourite shows on the TV or head out the patio doors for a dip in the hot tub to watch the sunset. As day draws to night, retire inside and take your pick between three well-presented bedrooms, with a king-size, a double and a single to rest your head. Begin your day with a soothing soak in the tub or stand under the shower for a hot rinse before joining your guests in the kitchen/diner for a coffee and hearty breakfast. Embark on an adventure to the Peak District National Park and bring along your bike to explore the sprawling greenery and stop off at the ancient Peveril Castle, built by Henry II. Visit the spa town of Buxton to make special memories, with the Buxton Opera House to watch live shows, Poole's Cavern to delve underground and the picturesque Buxton Park for a picnic. Also, within easy reach is the market town of Bakewell, home to traditional cottages and Lavender Tea Room for a slice of cake, or why not venture to Matlock for a day at Gulliver's Kingdom? Chapel-en-le-Frith is home to a cobblestone market square and historic old stocks, as well as Eccles Pike, a gritstone hill with a pink peak that provides far-reaching 360-degree vistas. Buxton, a major spa town known not just for its medicinal spring water but also for its Pavillion Gardens and fine Victorian Opera House, is only seven miles distant and hosts a variety of acts that draw visitors from all over the world. A variety of sights, including magnificent homes like Chatsworth House and Lyme Hall, are just a short drive away. Blue John, Speedwell, and the Devil's Arse are just a few of the caverns in the Goyt Valley and Castleton. Chinley is a lovely little village on the western edge of the Peak District National Park, nestled in a beautiful rural setting.
