Nice cottage in a very quiet area. Cottage was clean and tidy and met most of our needs. However, the mattress in the double bedroom was quite hard and uncomfortable, resulting in my husband having to sleep in a single bed in the twin bedroom. The television was some way from the couches in living room, had some signal issues occasionally and difficult to see on times. The heating was very hot and stuffy first thing but cooler in the evenings, having rang the owner once about this she did not return my call. Would book again should we ever return to the area.

Spring cottage is a rustic barn conversion with exposed stone walls and vaulted ceilings, It has a well stocked kitchen with everything you need including a pint of milk and shortbread biscuits left by the owner. The cottage was clean and tidy and had loads of games and local information about walks, cycle routes etc. but I couldn't get the TV to work, this could do with updating to a smart TV so people can log into their own Netflix / Disney accounts.. WiFi was good. The location is remote but that's what I wanted for hiking, Chrome hill is on the doorstep, Cheedale and Luds church walks are 20 minutes and Mam Tor 30 away by car.

A wonderful time in a stunning part of the country. Fantastic walks. Lovely and warm/cosy. Well equipped kitchen but could the knives in the block be sharpened?Comfy beds. Really appreciated the time taken to buildup the local guides provided. We want to come back when the weather is warmer to make more use of the outside spaces and explore further.
