Its location is ideal for exploring the town and surrounding Peak District. The hot tub is a highlight, offering privacy and relaxation. Some guests noted the property is cosy, suggesting it's better suited for smaller groups, and there were minor comments on maintenance and size of the second bedroom.

Guests consistently noted the property was clean, with several reviews specifically mentioning its cleanliness. The property appears to be well-maintained in this regard.

The location is frequently described as great, well-located for Buxton Town Centre, and close to local attractions. However, one guest mentioned poor outside lighting, which slightly impacts the score.

The property is often described as cosy and comfortable, feeling like a home away from home. However, some guests found the second bedroom and beds quite small, which suggests comfort may be compromised for larger groups.

The second bedroom would be better with a singe bed, leaving more room for clothes storage. The bathroom floor needs some maintenance and the hot water in the kitchen took ages to come through. Very well equipped kitchen and it was nice to have access to some basic staples such as seasonings and oil, dishwasher tablets and kitchen cloths. Overall a good central place to stay with safe parking and close to shops, restaurants and Buxton attractions.

The accommodation was perfect. Having the hot tub was great too. We were able to walk from the cottage into the beautiful village. Would highly recommend and would definitely return again.

The Grooms Cottage was the ideal location for our family break, with the added bonus of the hot tub to soak in after a day’s exploring, we loved it!
