Minor suggestions include more kitchenware and improved fencing for dogs, but overall, guests thoroughly enjoy their stays and would happily return.
Multiple reviews highlight the property as very clean, immaculately maintained, and well-presented. Only one minor mention of dusty sofas, but this is outweighed by overwhelmingly positive feedback.
The location is frequently praised for its beautiful views, peaceful setting, and proximity to village amenities, walks, and public transport. The short, steep walk to town is noted but generally not seen as a drawback.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as cosy, spacious, and comfortable, with particular mention of comfy beds, warm fires, and ample space for groups. A few minor comments about dated sofas, but overall comfort is highly rated.
The property is described as well-equipped, with good kitchen facilities, log burners, central heating, and ample parking. Some guests suggest more mugs, glasses, and a high chair, but these are minor points.
Several guests mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs, wine, and logs provided by the owners. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

A lovely stay in a great location. Bit of a. Climb to the cottage which we loved but if you’re not physically fit you will need to use a car.

Lovely property. We had a great time staying here just like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend it and will be going back at a later date.

Lovely place to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Only one pub that serves food and another that serves tapas meant that there wasn’t much choice for eating out. The shepherds arms was a lovely drinking pub and the **** served lovely food. P
