We had a great stay in the property. The flat was cosy and had everything we needed. It was in a great location at the edge of Hathersage within lots of places to eat and drink nearby. It was also close to all the attractions and great walking

How shall I start?! Despite being dark and a bit out of the way, the flat was easy to find as instructions were clear, host was friendly albeit still on site to change a duvet 3h after check-in. Unfortunately the flat proved to be dirty and unhygienic, unlike anything we've seen before. We spent a couple of hours in the evening cleaning it after 6h drive. Just to describe a few: thick dust and dirt everywhere (!), old and thick grime on the toaster/oven/pans, freezer inaccesible due to ice build-up and lots of blood inside, hairs on the kitchen top, hoover was clogged-up with debris, the mop was still producing black water after more than 5washes with bleach, inches of dust/hair under the furniture and on the shelves, discards of previous guests. Living room window would not open. Bed was a small double and mattres was uncomfortable. Butchers downstairs can be heard clearly, potentially vice-versa. Only positives were location, working heating system, clean bed sheets, bed TV.

So easy, central to the town and facilities, brilliant having a designated parking space, incredible walks from the door. Although it’s tucked away above a shop it’s Comfortable furnishings made it very cosy.
