A lovely well equiped clean cottage in a great location and good walking on the doorstep. Everything we needed for a relaxing break away. Would stay again.

Had a great holiday staying at Shepherd’s Nook. The house was very clean with everything you need.Owner was very welcoming and on site should you need to make contact.Visited nearby Holmfirth where we seen the Last of the Summer Wine exhibition. Also visited Bakewell which was also an enjoyable day.Would definitely recommend for a peaceful holiday to unwind and refresh before returning back home.

We have a wonderful time at shepherds Nook fantastic location beautiful views The cottage’s were very clean great equipment all you need for a great stay the bedrooms are comfortable plenty of wardrobe space and the bathroom is wonderful so modern well finished.The owners are wonderful we had a little issue with the WiFi we wouldn’t normally have been that bothered about WiFi but I have a health issue that I needed to be in contact with my consultant we spoke to the owner and within an hour it was sorted for me very much appreciated.The local area is on your doorstep you don’t need a car to travel to wonderful places to walk to.It is a working farm so make sure you respect the farm and the simple rules of the country side code.Honestly I was a little nervous about going on our holiday as it was the first we had been on for over a year but there was no need it’s a wonderful location fantastic help from the owners fantastic location well equipped cottage and spotless.There are outside tables and chairs for you to use for a lovely outdoor picnic overlooking the reservoir. Thank you very much for a relaxing time in a wonderful location
