Guests say

Bottomhouse Barn in the Peak District is highly praised for its beautiful location, spacious and well-equipped accommodation, and welcoming hosts. Guests consistently mention the cleanliness, comfort, and the added luxury of a hot tub with stunning views. It's an ideal choice for large groups, particularly hen parties, with ample communal space and a warm atmosphere.

Guests frequently commend the property for its cleanliness, describing it as spotless and tidy. The provision of fresh towels and a well-maintained hot tub contribute to the high standards observed.

The barn's location is celebrated for its stunning views and proximity to local attractions and walks. Some guests suggest using provided directions over sat nav to locate the property, indicating its peaceful seclusion.

Reviewers are delighted with the comfortable beds and cosy communal areas, including a wood burning fire. The property's ability to accommodate large groups without compromising on comfort is particularly appreciated.

The barn is well-equipped with kitchenware, a wine cooler, and outdoor seating. While the hot tub is a highlight, occasional issues with power cuts and maintenance are noted. However, these are minor compared to the overall positive feedback.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through their helpfulness and the provision of local information. Gifts such as wine are mentioned, enhancing the welcoming experience, though it's noted that such gestures are a bonus and not a guaranteed amenity.

Had a great stay and would come again :)

Henry was very welcoming and helpful. The house was really in a lovely area and great for family activities, family walks, cycling, and a theme park. The Peak Wildlife park was within minutes as was the RSPB nature reserve. A visit to Chatsworth House was worthwhile. As a family with various age groups we found plenty of things to do for all. The house accommodated us well and was clean and tidy on arrival. A couple of minor things, I would suggest maybe the kitchen may need a little attention the dishwasher wasn't very efficient, also the electric tripped a couple of times but we were able to access the fuse box in the kitchen. Our thanks to Henry am sure Bottomhouse will be enjoyed again in the future.
