The property has a natural water supply for a borehole. There is a lake 100 yards away.. Luxury pod based on an adults’ only site in the heart of the Powys countryside.
Lake Vyrnwy Luxury Pod was built in 2021 and is situated on the owner’s caravan and camping site.
Lake Vyrnwy, which is owned by the rspb, is 1½ miles from the pod and offers some fabulous walking and bird watching, from pied fly catchers to dippers’ nests by the lake. Ravens, buzzards and peregrines can all been seen from this beautiful spot.

Special place to stay accommodation and location. The pod has a modern/stylish finish but still has a homely/cosy feel to it.The owners are welcoming, helpful and respectful - lovely people a pleasure to meet them.Perfect place to unwind and we plan on doing plenty more of that at this Pod in the future.

A beautiful setting for this luxury pod. We had a warm welcome from the owners and were shown how to use the hot tub. There is everything you need in the pod. Do your research on the local area as it’s extremely remote, but we liked that. My only critism is the bedroom. It’s not made clear in the advertising that it is like a small loft space and you need to navigate a very steep ladder to get up and down & can only crawl into the bed. We slept well up there though. There is however a pull out bed in the dining area but we didn’t want to have to keep pulling that out and put away etc. just be careful if you are a bit older or have health issues with mobility. Overall a wonderful break in lovely accommodation with stunning scenery.
