A lovely little cottage, very clean and tidy, beautiful surroundings. I would say its more suitable to two adults and two children rather than 4 adults as the upstairs bedroom is very small,Also, the lounge furniture is very uncomfortable, but would still say the property was good value for money.

Property wasn't clean, surfaces had been wiped but left to dry with smeary finish on cupboards, worktops & ceramic hob.Skirting boards very dusty and windows not clean. Underneath front door mat was extremely dirty. The microwave was very rusty on the inside door edge and none of the electrical appliances appeared to have a PAT test label. The dish drainer was also very rusted. The sofa and armchairs were not in the least comfortable even with a pillow from the bed to overcome the flat seat pad.We arrived Friday evening and met the owner next day when we pointed out the problems and also that the shower leaked between the hose and handset (probably just needed a washer) together with the outside light not working. Fortunately we had taken a torch. The owner said a plumber was due on the Monday and she would get him to take a look at the shower. I don't know whether or not he did but it was still leaking on our last day. Regarding the outside light the owner said she would come across on the next day, Sunday and replace the light bulb. Again nothing materialised. We did try to vacuum the floors midweek but the cleaner vacuum bag was bursting at the seams, and the smell emitted wasn't pleasant. One positive note, the bed was comfortable.

We did enjoy the place very much. It's a very tranquil environment, we loved to wake up to see the sheeps on the pastures.
