Cedar Lodge is highly praised for its peaceful and picturesque setting, offering stunning views and ample walking opportunities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped and comfortable accommodation, with special mentions of the cleanliness and the welcoming touches provided by the hosts. The location is ideal for a quiet getaway, yet close enough to local attractions. The thoughtful gestures, such as welcome packs and festive decorations, contribute to the lodge's charm, making it a much-recommended retreat.

The lodge is consistently described as clean and tidy, with one review suggesting a need for a bit more cleaning. Overall, the high standard of cleanliness is evident in the guests' feedback.

The location is frequently highlighted for its beauty and tranquillity, with beautiful views and proximity to walks. One review mentioned Alton as run down, but this does not detract from the lodge's perfect setting.

Guests find the lodge to be peaceful, comfortable, and well-proportioned, making for a relaxing stay. The comfort of the lodge is a recurring theme in the reviews.

While guests mention the lodge being well-equipped, there is insufficient detail to accurately score the facilities and maintenance. Therefore, this score is set to null.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through mentions of welcome packs and festive decorations. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed.
