Each property is set on the ground floor, making them the ideal choice for the less mobile.

The size of the accommodation was good for 4 adults and 2 children. There was only 2 deck chairs one of which was ripped on the decking but as there were 4 adults we requested more and told there was no more available but then told we could have more but non turned up. Understand there was also a picnic table but that was for eating not to enjoy the sun. TV did not work for all of our stay which we would have liked even for the girls when they first got up. Owners did come with new batteries but no good and even left a new remote which didn’t work then we never seen them again. Reported it to cleaners when checking out. There was at least 20 plates but only 2 cereal bowls and only 2 tumblers and 3 wine glasses. Had to ask for a corkscrew as not one there. Some of the pans were too worn to use. The equipment needs checking and updating. There was far too much duplicate stuff in the property but not enough essentials. Curtains were hanging down in places around the patio doors which I had to clip up as we had two children who would have got tangled in them. Sorry to have to write this below average review

Lovely lodge in a beautiful area. Owners very welcoming. Lodge clean and inviting. This is a very lovely part of the country lots of woods and heaths for bird watching everyone very friendly and helpful. Winchester cathedral well worth a visit also Hayling island and Pulborough rspb. Pub/restaurant only a few minutes up the road from the lodge which we visited and had an excellent meal. Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday and would definitely recommend these lodges will definitely consider returning
