Guests say

Woodlea Farm is a beautifully decorated and spacious cottage, ideal for large family gatherings or groups. Guests consistently praise the extensive gardens, hot tub, trampoline, and cinema room, making it perfect for both adults and children. The hosts are described as friendly and accommodating, and the property is well-equipped for a comfortable stay. While a few guests noted minor issues with storage, mirrors, and occasional cleaning oversights, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Most guests found the property very clean, with fresh towels and bedding provided. However, a few reviews mentioned missed cleaning details such as a leftover jacket potato in the oven, dirty toilets, and bins, as well as an unclean barbecue. These were exceptions rather than the norm.

Guests enjoyed the peaceful countryside setting and found plenty to do in the local area, including nearby cafés and attractions. The location is described as beautiful and convenient for exploring, though specific details about proximity to major attractions are limited.

The house is described as extremely comfortable, with spacious bedrooms and cosy beds. The large kitchen and living areas, as well as the garden and hot tub, add to the comfort. Some guests noted a lack of mirrors and limited hanging space, but overall comfort was highly rated.

Facilities such as the hot tub, trampoline, football pitch, cinema room, and large garden were highly praised. The kitchen is well-equipped, though some guests mentioned limited food storage and occasional shortages of cutlery or chairs for larger groups. Maintenance issues were minor and quickly resolved by the hosts.

Guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as welcome baskets, help with early shopping deliveries, and friendly, responsive hosts. While some guests received gifts or consumables, please note these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Woodlea Farm was beautiful and has everything you need and more. We have just returned from a lovely weekend with 6 children, ranging from 1 to 13. The garden space, trampoline, football pitch and hot tub was perfect for a safe and fun-filled weekend in the sun.Plenty of space to relax on the garden terrace and separate patio.Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and would highly recommend.

Absolutely outstanding home in the countryside for a peaceful break away with girlfriends. We were blown away by the beauty of the gardens and the interior of the house which was exceptionally well equipped and of an excellent standard. The hot tub was immaculate and ready for us. Beds were all really comfortable and you couldn’t fault the set up. The garden is perfect if you had children with you. Thankfully we didn’t. Loved the sun deck. Kerry’s dad was lovely too and popped over instantly when we queried the oven (there had been a power cut). Wonderful stay, everyone came away saying they’d love to return and how fab it would be for couples and families. The extra welcome goodies were delightful. The only thing we would’ve liked to have been able to do was put our own rubbish and bottles out to save leaving them outside- but thank you so much. Locally, we took a taxi to Alresford for dinner but the Watercress line is within walking distance , as is a lovely local shop and cafe.
