Based on previous cottages it lacked some of essential basic items that are standard in most other cottages, such as kitchen roll and washing up liquid. We found it to be very cosy and warmly, but the decor was very tired in areas such as the radiator need painting and the grout needed rergrouting on one of the shower walls. It lacked a toilet roll holder and a towel ring for the hand towel. On the plus side it was very nice to receive the welcome pack of bread milk and jams.Overall we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Great place for a short break or for, as we used it, a base for a weekend Reunion we had in Ringwood. Facilities very good, nice comfortable bed and kitchen more than adequate for two people. It is only a studio bedsit type of accommodation, which is quite clear in the listing, so it was just as we expected, but would be rather small for a longer break, particularly if the weather was wet. We had a hot weekend, and the property, being thatched, remained beautifully cool! Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Owners live on site and are more than happy to sort any problems that might arise. Property is right next to the main road, but it goes quiet at night and to be honest, with the secondary double glazing we hardly noticed it. Dedicated parking space right outside of the door. We had no problem accessing the driveway from the main road, or rejoining it - visibility is good!
