Within a few miles of Lymington, you'll find yourself immersed in the New Forest's heathland and historic woodlands, as well as the coastal nature reserves that stretch for five miles and culminate in the Hurst Castle shingle spit, where Henry viii had the castle constructed in 1554. As a starting point for trips to the New Forest, the Isle of Wight, and the Hampshire coast, Lymington is a great choice.
