This is our fourth visit to Pond Cottage. We have kept returning because the cottage is perfectly located to access both the New Forest and South Coast. There are some amazing walks directly from the cottage. The cottage itself is home from home. Penni and Simon have thought of everything for a happy and successful holiday. They are wonderful hosts and we appreciate the effort that they go to, to ensure you have a good stay. . The house is spotlessly clean and very welcoming. Our medium size dog who loved exploring all the different area of the garden and we found it to be very secure. .

Absolutely lovely stay, in a beautiful cottage for family gathering to see our baby granddaughter. We loved the setting ( a slightly wild, woodland garden and down a gravel drive : complete privacy ) which felt quite magical, even in February. It feels remote but you are not far from civilisation in fact, with Brockenhurst and Lymington only short drives away, North and South. Inside is a beautifully and tastefully restored interior, with every comfort a family could want. It has a luxurious yet simple and practical feeling which feels homely yet very special. The hosts are very meticulous to make sure info is clear and keen to make sure you have what you need. A nice personal welcome and thoughtful extra treats of butter , local bread , milk etcWe are sure to be back and are pleased to have found this place!
