The Coach House receives high praise for its comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful setting with wildlife and a garden. Guests appreciate the friendly owners and the property's proximity to attractions. The games barn and grand piano are popular features. Some guests mention issues with heat upstairs and shower design, but overall experiences are positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Most guests find the property spotless and well-maintained, though a few mention areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as windows and kitchenware. The majority of feedback, however, reflects a high standard of cleanliness.
The location is highly regarded for its peacefulness, access to local attractions, and wildlife sightings. It is deemed excellent for exploring the Isle of Wight, with convenient access to walks, beaches, and the steam railway.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the sofas and spacious living areas. Some concerns are raised about the heat retention upstairs and the comfort of the downstairs bed, suggesting room for improvement.
The property's facilities, including the games barn and well-equipped kitchen, are appreciated. However, there are comments about the need for fans due to heat, issues with a shower, and a suggestion for an electric shower upstairs. Maintenance issues are noted but are not widespread.
While many guests mention the warm welcome and helpfulness of the owners, there are no specific references to gifts provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to score thoughtfulness based on the provision of gifts.

8 rating is far too high. We base our feedback on the many self catering cottages, both with Sykes and other companies, that we have stayed at. Kitchenâ¦.dirty bowls in cupboard, dirty windows and well cobwebbed. Loungeâ¦. Dirty windows, cobwebs, missing slat on blinds, cobwebs on spiral staircase. Really dirty and stained rugs in lounge and both larger bedrooms. Downstairs bathroomâ¦â¦Rusty and dirty towel rail, dirty old laundry basket. Shower soaks bathroom floor even with the towels provided on floor to soak it up. Upstairs bathroom, toilet seat broken on arrival. This was replaced by a nice new seat

The hosts were really helpful and responsive - the directions provided were excellent. The property is lovely - very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There were three of us, but it would comfortably accommodate six. Itâs a quiet location but not far from attractions like Osborne House and the Steam Railway is very close by. We didnât use it, but the barn with table tennis etc would be great for families. It was lovely to see a variety of birds and red squirrels in the garden! We would recommend the Coach House!

The cottage was both stylish and cozy and immaculately clean. It provided a much-needed escape for our daughter and grand-daughters, who all loved it and also enjoyed improving their piano playing skills (mainly chopsticks!) and also playing table tennis and darts in the outside space. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful cottage to everyone and i will definitely be booking it again.
