Internally, Willow Barn features an open plan living, kitchen and dining area with the focal point being the wood burner. Externally, access to the patio and private lawn area is through the bi-folding doors and features a table and four chairs, ideal for al fresco dining. You’ll also find a large shared lawned area.
If you do not want to stray too far there are many pretty walks around the Wootton Bridge village and also of interest is Firestone Copse with picnic sites and walks, with views across the Millpond. Quarr Abbey, Osborne House and St Mildreds Church, Whippingham are also nearby.
A hotel and spa is 200m from the farm and happily, Fernhill Farm guests receive a 20% discount off spa treatments. They also have a stylish brasserie for relaxed dining on those evenings when you feel like venturing out.

We all had a fantastic Holliday grest location and cottage fab owners greeted on arrival with lemon cake and a bottle if wine only negative thing I could say was were a lot of big cobwebs over kitchen units behind log burner under and Behind the tv stand apart from that was great we would go again

Comfortable and well equipped cottage in beautiful surroundings and excellent hosts. Local shops and restaurants/pubs close by and plenty of nice walks for the dogs close by. Location is great to get around the island with most places 20 to 30mins away. Handy for Ryde which has nice beaches and Newport the main town with plenty of shops.Lots of information provided in the cottage and the hosts Karl and Karen were on site and available at all times with helpful suggestions. Dogs loved the enclosed garden. Had a great time and highly recommend the property and the hosts were the best by far we have experienced.

We had a lovely time. Karen and Karl are great hosts. We spent loads of time in the garden watching the birds coming and going. It's such a lovely place to sit and relaxThe cottage is very well appointed and the lemon cake provided as part of the welcome pack was delicious.We'll definitely be back.
