Sandford is located between the well-known towns of Newport and Shanklin, both of which offer wonderful days out for all the family. The quaint village of Godshill with its thatched roof cottages and winding streets is nearby and offers an array of amenities. There are also several walking and cycling opportunities nearby, ideal for those who enjoy being amongst the countryside. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

In a great location and overall good and comfortable cottage. Looks tired in places and could do with some updating. Weren’t told in advance of road works right outside cottage which is down very narrow lane so made it awkward everyday as the road outside was sug up and couldn’t get car out.

We stayed at woodside cottage in April.A beautiful house ,very clean with everything you could possibly need.The grandchildren especially loved the treehouse and slide in the garden.Brilliant location for visiting the island.

Cottage clean, comfortable and well equipped. A beautiful garden was great to come back to after a full day. The only negative was the drive out to the lane which was very tight if you have a long car.
