Conveniently located just half a mile away from the centre of Godshill, one of the most picturesque villages on the Isle of Wight, this property serves as an excellent central base for easy access to the island’s many attractions. Godshill boasts a winding main street adorned with fantastic village pubs and tea rooms, offering the best local ales and delightful cream scones with jam. The village is home to some of the oldest buildings on the Isle of Wight, including a historic medieval church atop the hill and numerous charming thatched cottages.

Lovely comfortable bungalow. Close to village in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Pub serving very good food just a 15 minute walk. Would definitely recommend.

Although Driftwood was on a quiet estate it was to far to walk to the main places of interest and places to eat.

We had a lovely stay in Driftwood. It is a comfortable house with everything you would need for your stay, and has a lovely private garden at the back. The whole property is neat and tidy, the location is wonderful with many nice places to visit within walking distance in Godshill, and the host was very responsive and helpful and even left Easter eggs for the children which was a very thoughtful touch!
