Property 1 (ref pssb) is a reverse level barn conversion and Property 2 (ref pssc) is a single-storey barn conversion. It is a perfect base for the beach and the cosmopolitan town of Ventnor, which is just a 5-minute drive away. Ventnor’s popular shingle and sand beach is a firm favourite with all ages, where freshly caught fish of the day can be purchased at the marina, and fishing and boat trips around the coastline are available daily. There is a wide selection of great eateries, pubs and boutique-style individual shops within a short driving distance. Blackgang Chine is nearby, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, and within easy reach are the Needles and Alum Bay. Attractions include Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Isle of Wight Pearl, Dinosaur Isle, Donkey Sanctuary and Calbourne Water Mill, which has a 17th-century working watermill. Osborne House and Gardens, known for being Queen Victoria’s holiday residence, and Carisbrooke Castle are a short distance away. The sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes, and the popular resorts and Shanklin and Sandown are nearby. The island can be explored from the open-top buses that stop regularly at various collection points. Beach 1½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Lovely property, very clean, tidy and well presented. Paul and Kay were welcoming and very friendly. The complementary produce was a lovely touch and much appreciated! We did find the topper mattress/bed in the main bedroom uncomfortable but otherwise a lovely stay!

Half-Term holiday: February 2026This was our third stay at Property 1 Rew Farm Barns. The property is a wonderful barn conversion. Finished to a very high standard, very comfortable, well equipped and extremely well presented. Our 9 year old granddaughter loves staying here and was delighted to see cows grazing on the field behind this time.A welcome pack of locally sourced food products was a nice touch too.Paul & Kay are super friendly hosts and we would highly recommend staying in any of their barns.Roger & Debbie Wimborne Minster

A wonderful Christmas "escape"for my family in a truly stunning location surrounded by nature. A beautifully well finished property and Paul and Kay, our hosts, were always at hand just opposite whenever we needed help. We would return in a heartbeat!
