Comprising three beautifully presented properties, this charming retreat is a great choice for larger groups of friends and family looking to explore the Isle of Wight. Perched in the hillside pastures of a peaceful farm, it’s especially suited to walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, with far-reaching rural views. It’s only 1 mile to the nearest village, Wroxall, where you’ll find a shop and a pair of pubs, plus the ever-popular Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. Ventnor (3 miles) and Shanklin (4 miles) are both great for traditional seaside days out. At Ventnor, you can stroll around the Botanic Garden or sunbathe and paddle on the beach, while Shanklin has a fabulous beach, the Esplanade, and the Old Village – a picture-perfect collection of thatched cottages, tea shops, and independent shops. Shanklin Chine, the 10,000-year-old gorge that’s hailed as the island’s oldest tourist attraction, is also well worth your time.

The main property on this site is a gorgeous, larger countryside getaway. Just off the main hallway, there is a boot room with WC. The main social spaces are the light-filled lounge with large windows, inviting furniture, a Smart TV, and a wood burner, and the snug which has a sofa bed that can be made up for two people. For the younger members of the group, there is a fabulous playroom. The spacious farmhouse-style kitchen lends itself to lovely breakfasts and brunches, while the dining room beckons for long, relaxed evening meals. A utility room completes the ground floor. Upstairs are the four super-king-size bedrooms that can be made up as twins on request, and a bunk room. Two of the larger rooms have en-suite shower rooms and another has an en-suite bathroom. The others share a family bathroom and a separate WC. The second property on site connects to the main house and comprises an inviting open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner on the ground floor, and a super-king-size bedroom, which can convert into a twin room, and a bathroom with free-standing bath and shower attachment upstairs. The third property offers another stylish open-plan living space on the ground floor, along with a utility room, a single bedroom and a family bathroom. Head upstairs and there’s a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a second single bedroom, plus another family bathroom.

The outside space is designed for lazy, sunny days together, with a mixture of mature gardens and seating areas where you can enjoy a BBQ. You’re also welcome to wander around the wider estate. Ample parking is available on site. There is a fenced pond close to the accommodation, within the garden, so children must be supervised at all times.
