The Cottage is tired and needs updating. The mattresses should be replaced. An area worth exploring only if one has transportation as it is back of beyond.

We did enjoy our stay, but it could have been even more enjoyable with some updates. The courtyard garden has potential but would benefit from some tidying up to improve its first impression. (fabulous views though) The property felt a bit dated and was lacking some basic amenities, such as a dishwasher, larger glasses, sharp knives, chopping boards etc. Realise this isn't important for everyone but we do enjoy staying in / cooking as well as eating out. While our stay was comfortable, in its current state, it doesn’t quite offer the same value for money compared to other recent stays. With a few improvements, it could be a much more appealing place to stay. Great comms from the owner, which was appreciated.
