Guests say

The Joiners Rest is highly praised for its stunning lodge, private hot tub, and warm hospitality from host Pippa. Guests enjoyed thoughtful touches like fresh bread, eggs, and prosecco, and appreciated the property's peaceful location, ideal for exploring nearby attractions. The heated pool and quality beds added to the comfort, while the private garden and games room were a bonus. Despite a minor issue with a shower, the overall experience was delightful, with many guests eager to return.

Guests consistently noted the property as very clean and well-kept, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating a high standard maintained by the hosts.

The property's location is described as peaceful and perfect for walking, cycling, and visiting nearby attractions. Its rural setting within easy reach of towns like Folkestone and Canterbury was appreciated, although one mention of poor phone signal suggests slight inconvenience for some.

Reviews frequently mention the quality beds, warm swimming pool, and the overall comfort of the lodge. The property seems to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience for guests.

Facilities like the hot tub, swimming pool, and games room are highlighted positively, though one mention of a 'tired' games room and a plumbing issue with the shower suggests room for improvement in maintenance.

The host's thoughtfulness is highly commended, with special mentions of welcome hampers and treats. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We have just come back from a lovely stay at the joiners rest. Pippa was an amazing host, so kind and helpful and on hand for anything you need. Loved our fresh bread, eggs and Prosecco which we enjoyed whilst relaxing in the hot tub. The hot tub was sooo hot and large easily fits 6-8 people. We went for dinner in a local pub called the Tiger and wow it did not disappoint the food and service was amazing. My son and his friend loved the cabin upstairs. The beds were comfortable and we all slept so well. The lodge has everything you need including a dishwasher, washing machine. Will definitely be returning again soon. **

Very enjoyable stay, and our host was very helpful in fixing the internet isues we had. Fresh eggs, salt and a supply of flour naturally lent themselves to pancakes for breakfast on the first morning.
