Guests consistently mention comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Some noted issues with lounge seating for four adults and soundproofing from the upstairs apartment, but overall comfort levels remain high.
The cottage is praised for being well-equipped with modern conveniences and good parking. Minor suggestions include improved WiFi, more lounge seating, and better towel drying options. Maintenance issues, when raised, were quickly addressed by the hosts.

Preston is located just outside of the historic and very pretty city of Canterbury, renowned for its cathedral, city walls, and general beauty! The beach isn’t far either if guests wanted to mix up their holiday and visit Ramsgate, Broadstairs, or Margate for long stretches of golden sands and traditional fish and chips. Alternatively, there is Whitstable, Sandwich, Deal, Dover, and Folkestone for varied days out from adventure parks, water parks, golf (various world-renowned courses locally), fishing, multiple zoos and so much more for all to enjoy. Canterbury, a cathedral city in southeast England, was a pilgrimage site in the Middle Ages. Ancient walls, originally built by the Romans, encircle its medieval centre with cobbled streets and timber-framed houses.
Canterbury Cathedral, founded in 597 A.D., is the headquarters of the Church of England and Anglican Communion, incorporating Gothic and Romanesque elements in its stone carvings and stained-glass windows. Visit Canterbury and discover why this beautiful, ancient city is one of the jewels in Kent’s crown. The historic city is less than an hour from London by train, and just 10 minutes from some of Kent’s beautiful beaches, it is the perfect city break for anyone in the mood for gorgeous medieval streets, great food and drink, and cultural getaways.

Positive ..Perfect spot. Large and bright Well equipped good parking Quiet spot but short drive to a main road Negative.. towels small and one had what looked like black mould on it I assumed there would be cleaning sprays for worktops ect but not so need to be told to take them Oven had burnt on fat and set the fire alarm off when opened the door The outside table and chairs are on a platform near two steps. I fear someone will push their chair back and tumble down ! Thinking should be a large warning sign on the fence Would I recommend this let Yes Would I return No but only because I would have to travel on the M25 😱
