Flamingo is a spacious cottage with a lovely garden, situated close to the beach and local amenities. Guests have enjoyed the generous welcome pack and festive decorations during Christmas. The property is family-friendly and offers cozy areas for relaxation.
The bedrooms were noted as clean, but there were complaints about sandy sofas and out-of-date items found by a child. This suggests that while some areas are well-maintained, others require attention.
The property is in a convenient location, close to the beach and local shops. However, the rocky beaches may not be ideal for all guests.
Mixed feedback on comfort, with some guests finding the living space cozy and roomy, while others criticized the furniture and lack of showers for a large group.
Facilities are a concern, with only one shower for a large group, a blocked toilet, and an iron that didn't work. The garden, although appreciated, was described as unkempt.
Guests appreciated the welcome pack and Christmas decorations, indicating thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gestures are at the discretion of the host and may not be guaranteed.

Recently had a family holiday and stayed at Flamingo, our age ranged from 3 to 60. 8 guests and only 1 shower was less than ideal and hard to work around. Description of house was far from true, it was like someone has been to a jumble sale with all mix match furniture. 2 sofas in the living room both uncomfortable and tatty with blankets thrown over them, dining table chairs all uncomfortable and too low height for the table. Front garden and back garden a complete mess and looks like a dumping zone including an elderly persons shower chair sitting there. Brambles and weeds taking over everywhere, very unkept. 3 year old opened a cupboard near dining room and found 3 tubs of out of date chewing gum, luckily an adult spotted this and intervened. Description stated smart tv in lounge, this was not a smart tv. All decor very scabby and messy, took us 24 hour to even find “third toilet” , didn’t even have a bathroom sink to wash your hands after.

The palce is nice and the area is OK. The beaches are rocky so can't walk bare feet. The house is spacious and the garden is very nice with a lot of fruit trees which are edible. The welcome gift was a nice touch. The bedrooms was clean but unfortunately in this occasion the sofas in the living room was sandy.Unfortunately there's only one shower in the room downstairs and the upstairs bathroom only have a bath (no shower hose). Although the bath is very nice but you can't hog it while other people are waiting. It was difficult for 10 persons to use. We all have to queue up for the shower or use a bowl in the bath if we want to wash our hairs. We stayed a week and no instruction of how and when the rubbish/recycling stuff need to be put out to be taking away. Other places we stayed in have this. The parking drive is a lot below the pavement so it was impossible to drive in or reverse into the drive in. Maybe put in a small ramp.Overall we did enjoyed our time here and thank you to the host for this.

1.Not suitable for 10 people. 4ft bed & room too small for 2 people.2.Our family uses showers , difficult having the only shower in a bedroom. 3.With 2 young children: Relief to find a 3rd toilet but seemed to block up easily and no wash basin.4. No hooks on doors apart from bathroom. For coats in hall, etc5. Recycling bin would be useful in kitchen6. Iron didn't work7. Enjoyed the garden and treats a nice touch. Spacious living/kitchen area.
