Guests say

Seashell Cottage in Deal is highly praised for its excellent location, cosy atmosphere, and comfortable furnishings. Guests love the proximity to the beach, local shops, and restaurants. The unique character and historical charm of the cottage contribute to a delightful stay, despite some concerns about steep stairs and parking challenges.

Most guests found Seashell Cottage to be clean and comfortable. However, a few mentioned issues with cleanliness, such as cobwebs and dirty kitchenware, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is consistently lauded for being close to the beach and town centre, with easy access to local amenities and transport. The convenience and charm of the location contribute to a high score.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially with the log burner. The steep stairs are noted as a potential discomfort for some, but overall, the cottage provides a comfortable stay.

The cottage is well-equipped with necessary amenities and guests appreciate the well-stocked kitchen. However, some maintenance issues like beeping smoke alarms and a tricky shower temperature control are mentioned, affecting the score.

While many reviews express appreciation for the cottage's amenities and the owner's communication, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

We had everything we needed and enjoyed a comfortable stay. The location was perfect and we walked many miles along the promenade in the sunshine. We loved hearing the sea, and the little fire made it feel like home. It was perfectly based to visit nearby areas like Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Canterbury. The owner sent us helpful message when the property was ready.
