Blue Cottage is just off the top end of the High Street, a 3-minute walk from the station and even less to the nearest of Broadstairs’ twenty-plus restaurants! The curved sandy beach of Viking Bay is 8-minutes’ walk down the High Street, lined with independent shops, restaurants and cafés, including three fish and chip shops!. Bordered by pastel-coloured beach huts, Viking Bay couldn’t be more charming and, come summer, rides and Punch and Judy shows add to the summer scene. From London St Pancras in less than an hour and a half, escaping or exploring London couldn’t be easier.

Had a lovely two nights. Although we went by car, train station close by and shops, restaurants etc. Easy walk to beach and parking in street not a problem. The house was warm and cosy. Small kitchen but equipped for our needs. Would return again if visiting our friends who live near.

The house is clean and tidy but is on the small side if you are tall! The kitchen in particular is cramped to work in but well stocked with all the equipment you need.
