Lovely building and garden, but tired and could do with updating. On arrival, we found rubbish in the downstairs bathroom,l bin, dirty teatowels in the washing machine, rubbish in the log basket and cobwebs everywhere. There was also a leaky tap in the kitchen and limescale on the taps in the bathroom and in the bath. We had to pre wash all the pots and pans we used due to them having a layer of grease on as though they had previously been washed in greasy cold water. I didn't bring this up at the time as they were all issues that needed dealing with immediately, and TBH, I was on holiday and didn't fancy an argument. A real shame, as with a bit of love and attention, this large characterful cottage could be so much better.

Can’t fault the property at all. Cosy cottage with so much space. Will definitely be returning.

Whilst there is not a pub or shop in the village, there is an excellent pub a short distance away in Cropredy and shops a short drive in Banbury. Overall if you are looking for a quiet escape set within some lovely countryside, this is an ideal place.
