We had an issue with the wifi not working for 2 days, although once we were able to speak to the Management Company it was quickly resolved. There is no phone signal at all in the cottage which some may find a bit frustrating and, due to the stone walls, the Bluetooth signal was poor which was an issue for us as we had a baby monitor that relies on Bluetooth. The kitchen is well stocked but lacks a coffee machine which nowadays is fairly standard (particular for the 5* rating and price tag) and the glasses supplied within the kitchen were limited being either a pint or a wine glass - nothing for a G&T! There were no chest of drawers in any of the bedrooms which was frustrating when you have clothes for a week to keep neat and tidy. The cottage is located on a fairly quiet road albeit there is some hefty traffic that thunders down the road at an early hour which did wake us. Burford is a lovely, beautiful town which offers a lot as does the local area. We will return to the area but perhaps not to this cottage, sadly.
