We stayed here during the heat wave in July 2026. The cottage is lovely, packed with all you could need, even a pool table- which was a great hit! The Spinney was spotless, comfortable and spacious enough for a family of 4- cockapoo included. The shower- waw! The enclosed and private garden was perfect. David the host even let us check in a bit earlier- we arrived earlier than anticipated, it was so hot, travelling from Wales too- we were so grateful. The crisps/cookies/wine and doggy treats was a lovely touch.We didnt sightsee as much as we would have liked, again- very hot, but we sure made use of the lovely garden and loungers. It was so peaceful and quiet, it felt like a villa abroad. We will come back, for sure!Thank you 💜

We had an absolutely fabulous time at this property and had all needs plus lots of extra , games, pool table, ping pong etc , clean and very central to where we wanted to visit , and good road network to go a little further, thoroughly recommended
