Epsom Cottage was originally built as the grooms accommodation for the Bruern Abbey stables. It now forms part of the picturesque courtyard and boasts views across the stunning parkland and beyond.

The front door opens into a quarry-tiled entrance hall which is central to the cottage. The elegant drawing room/dining room is off to the left and is flooded with natural light from the three large windows, which look onto the courtyard and the large private garden. At the dining end of the room, an antique mahogany dining table and rope-back chairs sit next to an oak serving-table. Thoughtful personal touches throughout the cottage make this feel like a real home from home.

The kitchen is on the other side of the entrance hall with marble worktops, a Belfast sink, marble behind the cooker and bespoke French Grey cupboards. The kitchen table seating six is ideal for those informal breakfasts and lunch.

Upstairs there are three beautifully furnished bedrooms; bedroom one is dominated by a splendid carved 18th century four-poster bed and its en-suite shower room is tiled in pale faux Carrara marble to match the genuine marble on the wall-to-wall vanity unit. There are a further twin-bed room and a single room with a wonderful four-poster single bed and a petite white painted 18th century washstand with running water.

Both bedrooms share a large, pretty bathroom with marble topped washstand and bath with shower over it.

French windows in the kitchen lead onto the terrace with vine and rose-covered pergola, The large garden with its outdoor furniture and barbecue is ideal for al-fresco dining or a simple quiet evening drink after a day exploring the Cotswolds.

Epsom Cottage is part of Bruern Cottages. Bruern Cottages offer unlimited access to a communal games room, two spa treatment rooms (bookable via the Estate office), an indoor pool and a gym area for guests to use.

There are bicycles available to rent for the day, by the main office. Standard bicycles are free of charge and E-bikes are £30 per bike, per day.

There is an electric car charging point available to use on-site and it is free of charge. Please enquire at the Estate office.

Children must be supervised at all times when using the indoor swimming pool.

Sorry, children are not permitted in the gym.

A river runs through the estate and leads to a weir that is gated off. Please supervise children at all times.
