They mirror each other and are two beautiful barn conversions in the stunning North Wessex Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. They are the perfect properties for both family and friend groups looking for excellent quality accommodation to reunite and get together in a beautiful part of the country. They can be booked together to sleep up to 16 or as two completely separate houses of eight, and the owner has thoughtfully arranged for on-site chefs that can provide celebration cakes and meals, by prior arrangement. It’s a wonderland for walkers with a footpath from the front door which will take you into the beautiful countryside. Cycling is also very popular in this area with plenty of routes to take and discover.
Other local attractions and activities in the area include Barbury shooting school, Lambourn racing stables, Newbury Racecourse, Highclere Castle (also known as the filming location for Downton Abbey), Avebury Stone Circle, Donnington Castle, Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre, and the prestigious Windsor Castle.

We were a group of seven adults celebrating a special birthday weekend, and this place was absolutely exceptional. The barn is incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped to a very high standard. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The beds were huge and extremely comfortable, and the whole property was spotlessly clean throughout.The host could not have been more helpful. We had arranged for a birthday cake to be delivered before our arrival, and she kindly dealt with everything for us and kept us updated throughout. She responded to any questions immediately, and nothing was ever too much trouble.We also visited the The Pheasant Inn, where both the food and service were excellent. The manager went above and beyond by guiding us to a safer route back through the fields rather than walking along the dark road at night, which was very much appreciated.We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property.

Just spent a wonderful week at the barn. From the private gated entrance, to the beautiful walks on the doorstep, Loved the space and the facilities. Such a great bonus having the charging port. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were great and showers hot and powerful. The fire on a cold winters night was brilliant, loved lighting it in the evenings. Only negative was several piles of dog mess from previous guests left in garden…( definitely not from our dog as much smaller)… but had to pick up, after stepping in it.
