Byeways is perfect for a large family, couple of families or a group looking for plenty of space and room so to not feel on top of each other. There are some narrow corridors in parts of the old carriage and steps to different areas.

Quirky and interesting accommodation with plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Plenty of space for seven adults over the Christmas period. It was great to be so near to the sea and some family members had a dip on Boxing Day. We only took the car out one day out of the seven to drive to Bracklesham Bay, as spent the rest of time walking and exploring locally as well as enjoying the quirky cottage. It was like living in a museum, each day discovering a different item or sign that we hadn’t seen previously.

We loved Byways - was perfect for a family get together. We loved all the quirky touches. It rained most of the time but was so near to the beach we could easily just pop there and back a few times. An easy drive to Chichester too, which was very quaint. Would have loved to come in the summer and spend time in the garden - perfect BBQ spot. Host was very friendly and kind. All perfect.
