If you are searching for bright lights and a bustling nightlife, this is not for you, but if you are searching for a family holiday home that offers style comfort and a relaxed ambience then The Jays is most definitely for you. The first thing that will stick with you is the wonderful fresh sea air as this holiday home is just a few hundred metres from this wonderful part of the West Sussex coastline. You can also enjoy horse riding on the beach, a scuba diving/snorkelling school is 5 minutes away, as well as golf nearby and limited bicycle hire available in the village.
The beaches are a huge draw to this wonderful county and Selsey is virtually surrounded by beaches from the miles of sandy Blue Flag beaches and dunes of the Witterings to the more traditional Selsey beach with long promenade, perfect for an afternoon stroll. It’s not all about the beach, with the stunning cathedral city of Chichester just 9 miles away with its eclectic selection of independent shops, fantastic theatre and a whole host of pubs and restaurants this is a city not to be missed and the historic docks of Portsmouth a few miles to the west, there is plenty to see and do during you stay at The Jays. Horse riding can be found within 4 miles of the property. There is a pub just by the sea wall at the end of the road, which is about ¼ mile away and is very popular, particularly in the summer months with a large outside seating area. Beach 200 yards. Shop and restaurant 2 miles.

We had an amazing stay at the Jays. The house was beautiful, relaxing and quiet. Beds were really comfortable and the garden was fabulous for our dog. The location was lovely with the sea at the end of the road and a really good pub within 5 min walk. Selsey is mainly shingle beaches but there is sand at low tide by Selsey Bill. Also dogs welcome on beach. The High street was about 10-15min walk with lots of choices for places to eat. The photos don't really do it justice and honestly one of the best self catering places we have stayed. We can't wait to visit again!

This is a lovely spacious family house with a lovely large garden and in a perfect position for the sea. The owners little touches make it very homely and welcoming, even with little treats for us and our dog.
