Guests say

Buckholt Stables is highly praised for its stunning setting, spacious and well-equipped facilities, including a commercial kitchen and large hot tub. The property offers comfortable and beautifully decorated bedrooms, each with an en-suite, and is ideal for large gatherings. The grounds are appreciated for their beauty and tranquillity, enhancing the overall experience.

The property is generally described as clean and well-maintained, with several reviews highlighting its spotlessness. However, a few guests noted issues such as half-used toiletries and a lack of kitchen hot water, which slightly impacted the overall impression of cleanliness.

The location is frequently described as beautiful and peaceful, with stunning countryside views. The property's remote setting contributes to a tranquil experience, although one review mentioned it was a bit difficult to find, which does not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback about the location.

Guests consistently report high levels of comfort, with numerous mentions of comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The property's ability to accommodate large groups with ease contributes to a comfortable stay, although there were minor comments about underfloor heating being too warm in some areas.

The facilities are generally praised, especially the industrial kitchen and the hot tub. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as non-working fans, a dripping shower, and a lack of certain kitchen utensils, which suggests room for improvement in this category.

While guests appreciated complimentary items such as wine and the presence of an ice machine, there is insufficient information to determine a consistent level of thoughtfulness across all stays. It is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary.

Delightful bedrooms with comfortable beds, spacious dining area and sitting room. We coped with the kitchen and great meals were enjoyed. A peaceful, private garden with a splendid hot tub was enjoyed by our group. The property is set in a beautiful rural setting, we were sorry to leave.

  • Kim

Thought it was a bit mean asking us to bring our own toilet rolls given the weekend cost £3,300. Also the catering person recommended in the listing didn't respond.

  • David

When you request any of these they are NOT available. To have to be packed up and out of the property on the day of departure by 09.00 hrs is a rush.
