Located on the banks of the River Avon in amongst the scenic Wiltshire countryside just south of the town of Chippenham, is Lacock. Surrounded by rolling hills, meandering streams and boasting close proximity to the Cotswolds aonb, Lacock is a lovely base for your next adventure in Wiltshire. It offers a rich history, dating back to the 13th century and features Lacock Abbey which helped to shape the development of the village, offering fascinating architecture with its medieval clusters, Tudor courtyard and charming gardens. Visitors can explore the impressive building, which is most famous for its appearances in the Harry Potter films, adding an extra element of enchantment to the location. Head to Fox Talbot Museum or take a stroll through the centre of the village itself, renowned for timber-framed houses, stone cottages and a charming market cross.
