The Lodge is only 20 minutes from the New Forest National Park, famous for its ponies, and borders Martin Down National Nature Reserve which is known for its wildlife, rare flowers and butterflies as well as the Jubilee Trail which crosses from border to border across Dorset and there is direct access to many miles of stunning footpaths, bridleways and cross-country cycling to enjoy around the hamlet of Pentridge.
Although the lodge is set in a quiet countryside location, you are only 40 minutes from the glorious sandy beaches of the south coast and the fossils of the Jurassic coast. Our second stay at Country Lodge but won't be our last. Very cosy and extremely comfortable place to stay, perfect for watching buzzards, red kites, hares and cows!Some wonderful places to visit in the area, fantastic farm shops and places to eat.Lodge had a beautiful Christmas tree lit up when we arrived lovely touch. Fabulous place to stay.
