The house is spacious and comfortable with lots of interesting artefacts. The garden and surrounds with the river running through was very well maintained and great for spotting wildlife. One of us was thrilled to glimpse a kingfisher! The owner is keen that staying at The River House should be a perfect experience for guests. I think they've done a pretty fine job. We shall have wonderful memories.

The attention to detail is second to none and Katherine goes to great lengths to make sure all her guests are comfortable and catered for. It's the ideal place for a general chill out holiday but is also close to many interesting places to visit. We hope to return in 2026 to enjoy yet another relaxing time at The River House. Angela and family.
