Guests say

Mulberry House in Broadstone, Dorset, is a well-presented and spacious property, appreciated for its attractive garden, games room, and hot tub. Guests have enjoyed the ample space, the high standard of decoration, and the property's suitability for large groups and family gatherings. While some minor maintenance issues and a neighbour's barking dog were noted, these did not significantly detract from the overall positive experiences.

The property is generally praised for its cleanliness, with several reviews noting it as spotless and well-maintained. However, a few guests mentioned specific issues such as dirty floors and a BBQ needing cleaning, slightly affecting the score.

The location is described as peaceful and not too far from local attractions. The garden's steep hill was a concern for some, and there were comments about the presence of trees attracting insects, but overall the location was well-received.

Comfort is highly rated, with guests enjoying the spaciousness and cosiness of the property. However, concerns were raised about the lack of a downstairs shower for those with mobility issues and the heat in one of the bedrooms, which affected the comfort level for some guests.

Facilities like the games room and hot tub were highlights, but several maintenance issues were reported, such as problems with a hoover, shower door, and BBQ cleanliness. The hot tub maintenance and cleanliness were particularly noted, impacting the score.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Well equipped for our large family. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Maybe have the facility for the twin room to become one bed rather than two separate beds.

Some areas need some attention, particularly around the cleanliness as the floors were very dirty and numerous cobwebs around the property in obvious places. The severe slope of the garden is quite dangerous for children and feel like it would benefit from a fence to make it more safe and secure. Couple of basic kitchen items missing such as tongs and no bbq utensils at all. Bins were full when we arrived and only the normal bin was emptied which meant we had multiple large bin bags of recycling just left by the bins all week.

Well presented and maintained. Some of the bulbs/LED's in the house need replacing and Bar BQ had not been cleaned as requested in the instructions by previous visitors but that was easily fixed. Games room and garden furniture were excellent.
