Enclosed front garden with garden furniture. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Dorset has something for everyone. Close to the property, you will find Lytchett Matravers with local shops, pubs and restaurants. Further afield is the famous Dorset Jurassic Coastline. You will need more than a day to explore places like Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Lyme Regis and are all worth the visit. From award winning beaches to attractions such as boat trips and water sports the whole family will enjoy themselves. Poole Harbour is approx. 15-minute drive from Holly Hedge Farm which lays claim to the title of the second largest natural harbour in the world after Port Jackson, Sydney, this is a place of natural beauty with trips running daily to the famous Brownsea Island. Keep the eyes peeled for a red squirrel. For the golfer among us Bulbury Woods Golf Club is approximately 1-minute drive from the property where you will find a tree lined course for all abilities to enjoy. Back to the property is where to make more memories around the wood burner and outside enjoying the end of the summer sun. Beach 7 miles. Pub and restaurant 2 miles.
Meet our four resident donkeys! They’re a much-loved part of our home and add a unique, charming countryside experience to your stay. Please note: cctv is in operation at Holly Hedge Farm.
There is open water in the property grounds.

Very welcoming hosts , A quiet location and short drive to A35 . Great for dogs but Owls retreat garden was a patio so my dogs prefer grass but could walk just outside gate .

We had a lovely week at Owl's Roosts. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly and the cottage was a real home from home - everything you needed and more. Our little dog settled in straight away!A great base for exploring the Jurassic Coast and nearby attractions. Shops nearby and plenty of food options if you want to eat out. We will definitely be back. Thank you Julie and Mark.

Immaculate cottage, very well equipped and comfortable. Hosts were very attentive and welcoming. 3 other cottages on same site including 1 right next door. Ideal for other family members. The resident donkeys were lovely and friendly. Good location for exploring Poole Harbour and Dorset generally. Will definitely be back.
