it is a working farm so plenty of cow, sheep and the odd horse nay plus dogs now and then, which is what you expect from a working farm, apart from that very quiet at night, and very dark cause your in the country side.overall a great base camp to explore Devon and Cornwall, beaches close by and plenty and costal walks , plus the camel trail good for all stages of cycling myself and wife took it on and we are not young but it was fun.
