Semybadazee is located just a few minutes’ walk from Widemouth Bay’s expansive sandy beach, which is popular with both swimmers and surfers alike, and it is highly regarded as one of the finest, sandy, surfing beaches in North Cornwall. There are beach shops, water sport activities and restaurants all within easy reach, and the ever popular seaside town of Bude is just a short drive away. Given the proximity to the A30, this is also a great base from which to explore the whole of North Devon and Cornwall, and nearby you can visit Tintagel, with its legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, Hartland and Clovelly. A holiday home in the perfect position for beach holidays at Widemouth Bay. We were very comfortable and were pleased we’ve finally found a home that our Houdini dog didn’t escape from. The initial supply of logs was welcomed as the property was cold when we arrived. With the fire and heating on it soon warmed up though and was a one off issue probably caused by our arrival on a very cold day in January. I think staying in better weather may have allowed us to appreciate the area more. Our only concern was struggling with the TV’s as neither had standard channels when switched on. It’s possible that storm Goretti had played a role but after help from the owners, thankfully, we used the players to watch live tv in the living room and were able to watch prime in the bedroom. It’s worth mentioning that the bedroom tv has no aerial type connection.

We booked a family holiday for October half-term. This holiday home was perfect for us as it was perfectly located to Widemouth beach which was straight across the road, great for walking with our dogs. ‘Sembadazee’ was warm and welcoming, we had plenty of room to relax in, we felt comfortable and at ease.Bude was a 5 minute drive away, plenty of places to eat locally. The Bay View is in walking distance from the bungalow, Widemouth Bay cafe is across the road and Black Rock was easy to walk to over the sand dunes. We would definitely book again.
