Just a mile away is the village of Pentney with its 12th century priory and popular marked walks, while 9 miles away is the quaint town of Downham Market, which sits on the River Ouse and boasts a ruined Norman castle on a Roman site, with rooms and galleries to view, reached by a dramatic staircase. Take a visit to Sandringham where you can enjoy a day out at the Sandringham House and Gardens or for something different visit the local beaches at Snettisham and Hustanton being only 30 minutes drive away.
