With oak beams, pillars and flooring throughout the property, this luxurious barn conversion, with an open plan living space running the whole length of the property, is the ideal holiday home for all the family. The three sets of sliding doors opens up the property to the outside enclosed deck overlooking a small reeded stream and pond where you can often see a swan family who have based themselves on this stretch of the river. It is perfect for outdoor cooking, relaxing or simply enjoying watching the world go by with a glass of wine. Inside the property on a chillier evening, cosy up in front of gas wood burner or why not go up to the mezzanine level where you can enjoy playing on the table football or Xbox on the large TV which also has Netflix. Coot Lodge is furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout, with luxurious leather sofas, fluffy cushions and beautifully designed Italian table and chairs. All three bedrooms are on the ground floor, with the main bedroom boasting an en-suite and all have luxury Egyptian cotton bed linen.
Located on the Lower Mill Estate in Somerford Keynes, you have miles of scenic walks from the front door and an abundance of local sporting, sightseeing and relaxing activities. You have free, unlimited access to the award-winning spa a mere 50 yards stroll away, with slate-lined, naturally filtered heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools. You can swim among the water lilies in the eco plunge-pool, and relax in the sauna, steam room. There is a well-equipped techno-gym and adult-only relaxation room. A wide range of spa treatments are also available (payable locally). The gated and managed estate comprises of woodland and meadows crossed by three rivers and is surrounded by serene lakes. On the estate there is a tennis court, nature trails and cycle tracks, a playground, equipment hire and licensed restaurant with farm shop. Pub ½ mile, shop and restaurant on-site.

Such a lovely home for the weekend highly recommend. The place is super cosy and wholesome. We arrived to Prosecco and biscuits, which was such a thoughtful touch, and we loved having acces to the pool right next door. The café is only a three-minute walk away too. The whole home has a really lovely vibe perfect for a family break or a weekend away with friends. A couple of things I wish Id known in advance: bring your own esentials such as salt, pepper, sugar and coffee. We loved cooking here, but youll want to make sure youve got everything you need.
