Crackington Haven 2.5 miles. This spacious barn conversion is set in a delightful rural location, in the quiet hamlet of Dizzard, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to Crackington Haven. With stunning far-reaching ocean views, the property is located just 2.5 miles from the beautiful beach at Crackington Haven and six miles from the award-winning coastal resort of Bude. Perfect for families or couples, Penbarden Barn is full of character which you will sense the moment you arrive. The first thing that will strike you is the peace and tranquility that surrounds the barn. As you enter through the utility/boot room (very handy for storing muddy boots and sandy shoes), you arrive in the impressive hallway.
On one side is the light and airy kitchen with dining table, which leads through to the ground floor double bedroom. On the other side is the large yet cosy sitting room with a woodburner, ideal for toasting toes on those cooler nights. On the first floor you will find a further three bedrooms, with the king-size double benefiting from en-suite facilities. Outside, the large enclosed garden offers an ideal spot for alfresco dining. Crackington Haven is a lovely family beach with its gently shelving and enclosed bay, along with a great pub, restaurant and café, this is an ideal place to spend many hours.
A little further along the coast in the opposite direction is the superb family and surfing beach of Widemouth Bay, with something for everyone and hundreds of rock pools to explore. This delightful barn conversion offers great accommodation in an ideal location for holidays all year round.
Crackington Haven is a seaside village in Cornwall, with a sandy beach and good surf. The village is close to Bude, with great beaches and plenty of amenities, as well as being in easy touring distance of Boscastle, Polzeath, Bodmin Moor and much more!

From the time of the booking, to arrival, through duration of stay all went well. As the weather was gloomy, windy, and often wet we really needed greater control of the central heating. A user manual would have been helpful to adjust the on/off periods. We had to purchase a couple of additional drying up cloths to manage the amount of washing-up. And one admission to make - we did break a wine glass, sorry.

The quality of this property was apparent from the moment of arrival. It was impeccably furnished with premium facilities, providing a luxurious and comfortable holiday experience. The kitchen is well-equipped, with high-end appliances, ample crockery and glassware etc. The excellent coffee machine was a perfect start to each morning. Spacious living areas offered ample space to relax and unwind. Bedrooms provided comfort, with plush bedding. Bathrooms were impressive, stocked with toiletries and fluffy towels. The outdoor space was equally delightful. Outdoor furniture provided al-fresco dining and a beautiful well-maintained garden was a lovely bonus. The owners have created an exceptional holiday retreat. This is one of the best holiday cottages, and it is recommended for anyone seeking a fantastic getaway. We had a wonderful holiday, the barn was beautiful and great facilities ,gorgeous location would highly recommend it, having 3 bathrooms was a huge plus with 8 people, and everything was to a high speck, there was only one thing that would of been useful to know that there was no hairdryer provided, very small issue, everything else was perfect and thank you,
