Walk through the grassy, wildlife rich sand dunes to Crantock Beach that sits at the mouth of the Gannel estuary, or enjoy the sandy beaches at Holywell Bay where Poldark was filmed. To the south, the three mile stretch of sandy beaches and rockpools of Perranporth provides endless hours of traditional beach fun, whilst adrenaline seekers head to the surfing paradise of Newquay with its famous Fistral Beach, Watergate Bay and Tolcarne beaches to catch the Atlantic Rollers. For those looking to explore on foot, the coastal path can be joined a short distance from the house and the two pubs in the village offer an opportunity to quench the thirst after a busy day exploring.
