Bifold doors from the kitchen/diner lead out to a walled courtyard that has an outdoor furniture set and from here, you can walk up to the roof terrace to unwind in the sunshine and enjoy those incredible sea and estuary views.

Fowey is a dream destination on Cornwall’s south coast. Famed for its connection to Daphne du Maurier and its featuring in some of her best-known novels, this exceptionally pretty maritime town with its beautiful beaches and unique atmosphere is the perfect place for relaxing coastal breaks. Just 50 yards from La Folie is Whitehouse Beach - a tidal beach with its newly refurbished 1920's children's sea pool (built on the rocks alongside the beach and next to the Polruan Ferry slip), which is a lovely spot for a paddle or a swim. The beach is also a good place to launch a kayak or SUP (It is close to the harbour and its traffic however so may not be suitable for beginners).

La Folie can accommodate an extra child (up to the age of 12) on the daybed in the top bedroom. Please contact the Luxury Coastal team to arrange this

This room has a door leading out the sea-facing balcony to the front of the house and a door on the opposite side at the back of the house which leads out to the decking and roof terrace

This first floor shower room has a walk in shower with hand held attachment, hand basin, cabinet with mirror, heated towel rail and WC

Family bathroom

A large contemporary bathroom on the upper ground floor with walk -in shower and rain-head, separate bath tub, hand basin, cabinet with mirror, heated towel rail and WC

Outside

La Folie has three outside areas to enjoy

A sea-facing balcony with decorative iron balustrade and bistro set (accessed from the living room)

A paved patio within a walled courtyard area which has an outdoor dining set (accessed from the kitchen / diner) and a shower (with both hot and cold water)

A private wraparound roof terrace with sun loungers showcasing fantastic views over the estuary and out to sea (accessed up a flight of steps from the courtyard as well as from the living room)

Parking

This property offers one allocated parking space at Squires Field (approximately 15 minutes walk). Guests will be provided with a permit (placed on the kitchen table for your arrival) which will need to be displayed in the window of the car
